Punya Foundation Annual Report 2019.

Punya Foundation presents its annual report 2019 to its valued readers, donors and well wishers. Please click HERE for desktop/laptop access of our annual report and HERE for mobile, tablet and iPad version. Program highlights for year 2019 are as follows:

  • Hundred thirty-six students received scholarships, 130 in Nepal and 6 in Ethiopia.
  • Five women in Ethiopia received micro-finance support under women empowerment project domain.
  • Twenty-one women in Nepal received peri-pregnancy medical check-up and basic medication support.
  • Under country specific programs, Australian team organised varieties of programs, year-round. Some of these programs were multicultural spiritual program, arts activity for children, table tennis tournament and networking through fundraising dinner in Adelaide. Similarly, expressing a moral support to the wider Australian community, the Australian team organised blood donation, water distribution on extreme hot days, provided support to firefighters in New South Wales and emergency relief to victims of bushfire in South Australia.
  • The USA team organised a mental health first aid training program and distributed blankets to homeless people in Texas.
  • All country teams and volunteer groups worked hard to generate funds to make the programs moving.
