Welcome to the web pages of Punya Foundation. Punya Foundation is a charity. It is registered in Australia (holds registration with the ACNC as a DGR charity), in the USA it has status 501 (c) (3) and it is a not for profit in Nepal, Canada and Ethiopia.
The Foundation operates on principles of universal declaration of human rights with a mission of “Justice through Education and Empowerment”.
Target groups of the Foundation are people who need support to live a dignified life. The Foundation assists underprivileged and rendered vulnerable children with their education. It focuses on welfare of women in fronts of social issues like mediation and empowerment through adult education. The Foundation is established to contribute to make differences in lives of vulnerable, deprived, and victimised people across the globe. It works to mobilise resources and extends emergency relief support during disasters and natural calamities. To assist migrants, refugees and resettled people, the Foundation organises integration programs, cultural activities, job-oriented training programs and provides psychosocial support.
