Ms Muna Maya Mishra and Ms Bhagi Mishra from Rochester, USA donated for food, shelter and education of students studying at Sanskrit Bidhalaya Aawashiya Gurukul in Sitapur in Naimisharanya, Utter Pradesh in India in October 2023. “Thirty-six poor and vulnerable children live at Sadhashil Ashram adjoined to the Sanskrit Bidhalaya. They attend education in Sanskrit philosophy’ stated Acharya Anand Dev, the founder and educator of the Gurukul.

Ms Muna Mishra and Bhagi Mishra believe in helping poor people and giving what they can to those that matter. This time they made a difference by donating what they could to students of Gurukul education system in Naimisharanya – a service to God by service to the helpless and needy.

Mr Hari Adhikari, Program Coordinator of Punya Foundation handed the donated amount to Acharya Dev. Mr Dev mentioned, “the donation is of immense help to give continuity to the gurukul education”.
