Like past 3 years, The Punya Foundation is organising Multicultural Spiritual Program and Yoga sessions to raise fund for the education of children who lost at least one of their parents during earthquakes of 2015 in Nepal and poor and vulnerable children in Nepal and Ethiopia.

On the first day, the program shall embrace sermon by Buddhist philosopher, the 5th Incarnation Tulku Rinpoche Kezang Tamang. Rinpoche is a graduate from Baylikupa, Mysore India. He shall highlight on charity from perspective of Buddhism. Our guest spiritual leader this year is Acharya Shree Rajan Sharma. He is an accredited Yoga instructor in Australia. AMong others, Acharya Sharma shall touch on Shrimad Bhagawat and will discourse on health and wellbeing through Yoga.

Like past years, local gurus namely Swami Khagendra Neopaney, Pundit Shree Tirtharaj Poudyal, Pundit Shree Gangaram Bhattarai, Pundit Shree Somnath Bhattarai, Pundit Shree Dinesh Adhikari, Pundit Shree Santiram Upadhaya Dhakal shall also discourse on various aspects of Shreemad Bhagawat. Representatives of diverse Bhajan and Kirtan Mandalis and local artists display performances and spiritual songs. On the second day (8 September 2018) at 6 pm, poem recitation program shall take place. The Program shall end with Shanti Mantra for Peace and Prosperity of human kind.

Honorable Jing Lee, Member of the Legislative Council and Assistant Minister to the Premier is the chief guest. Mr Glenn Docherty, Mayor of the City of Playford in South Australia shall acknowledge volunteers of the program and distribute acknowledgment certificates.
