Punya Foundation Inc. and the Himalayan Warriors, as a joint initiative, organised Deusi on 5 November 2021. Punya Foundation had been celebrating Deusi and Bhailo in the past. The fund generated through the celebration goes for the education of orphan and vulnerable children in underdeveloped countries.
Mr Kashi Adhikari, Director of Programs of Punya Foundation and Mr Puskar Sharma Poudyal, Executive of Himalayan Warriors coordinated the program. Mr Resham Adhikari, Mr Bhuwan Dhakal, Mr Ujjwal Katwal, Mr Sudin Sigdel, Mr Nabin Chapagai, Mr Kiran Bhandari from Southern Knight Cricket Club, Mr Suman Bhetal, Mr Shiva Bhattarai and Mr Dilli Adhikari joined the team showing their active participation.
The Deusi team was welcomed by Chandrakot Jewellery(the sponsor of Himalayan Warriors), Mr Deepak Ghising the first individual to initiate vegetable-farming from the Nepalese community, Hema clothe market, Namastee Supermarket, Complete Choice Disability and Home Care, Bhoye Chhen Cafe and Restaurant and Kalikotey Jewellery.
