On 17 December, Punya Foundation team gathered around train station in Salisbury North starting a series of its free water distribution program as high temperature hits South Australia.

The first day of water distribution was attended by the Deputy Mayor Cr Julie Woodman, Councillor Shirley Halls, representatives of Woolworths Ms Lisa Coscarelli, Mr Craig Gill and Mr Andrew Heritage, Ms Eryn Halls, President of Rotary Elizabeth and her team, Executives of Senior Helpers Paradise.

Around 7,50,000 litres of water was distributed with support and donation of individuals, charities, and supermarkets. For the list of supporters and donors please chick here.
