Mr L. B. Subba was born in Bhutan. His family had to flee the country due to political crisis. He spent almost one and a half decades in the refugee camp in Nepal. Mr Subba received his education up to secondary level in a refugee camp in Jhapa and did his higher secondary education from Kalimpong, India.
Under the third country resettlement scheme, he migrated to the USA in 2008. Since then, he has been a resident of Texas. He lives a successful, accomplished, and happy life with his extended family. Mr Subba and his beautiful wife have two adorable daughters. His mother and grandmother live with him in the DFW Metroplex.

Mr Subba is a Co-Founder of a new solar broker company. He however works for various industries like financial services, accommodation, and the technology industry.
Mr Subba strongly believes in making a positive difference in people’s lives. His is recognised for his active involvement in community services. Through Punya Foundation, Mr Subba is sponsoring Sanjeeta Basnet for her higher secondary education. Mr Subba intends to contribute to help Sanjeeta’s educational dream come true.

Sanjeeta is from Balkot, Bhaktapur and born to late Naran Bahadur Basnet and Sarita Basnet in Sindhupalchoak district. Sanjeeta’s father expired before she was born.
Sanjeeta in her performa writes, “I am 17 years. I come from a very poor family.” Her mother struggled to bring her up. Sanjeeta however is very lucky to have her school level education, including boarding expenses supported by an altruistic organisation called Poor and Orphan Children Relief Center. She secured 3.85 GPA in her Secondary Education Examination and expresses being content with the result.
She writes, “I am a girl with determination, and I want to fulfil my dreams.” Every person has a set of goals and aspirations in life. Sanjeeta mentions, “my aim is to become a software engineer and inspire young minds.” She intends to drive and influence financially poor people, like those in similar situation as she is in. She pleads, “I am in need of support for my education after the Secondary Education Examination. I want to accomplish my dream, become an independent person and help others when I am able to do so.”
