Punya Foundation successfully delivered a second round of Nepali vegetarian lunch package thanking frontline health care workers. This time, the Foundation team reached out to the Lyell McEwin Hospital in Elizabeth Vale in South Australia.

Punya Foundation’s cultural coordinator Mr Narad Dahal expressed respect to the traditional landowners. Mr Dahal stated, “it is an immense pleasure for me to represent Punya Foundation to recognise frontline healthcare worker, who served the community tirelessly during COVID 19 pandemic.” Further, Mr Dahal thanked Ms Helen Stevens, Executives Director of the workforce and human resources for her kind presence and for the warm welcome to the Foundation team.

Mr Kashi Adhikari, the Director of Programs of the Foundation appreciated healthcare workers for implementing excellent strategy to protect the community. He introduced Punya Foundation’s team of executives and highlighted Foundation’s activities internationally. Mr Adhikari said, “our small charity thanks you with the lunch package.”

Ms Helen Stevens, Executive Director of Workforce and Human Recourse praised the Foundation team for their generosity.

Mr Til Chand Sapkota (CEO), Mr Hari Pokhrel (Director of Finance), Mr Sanman Kafley (Director of Administration), Mr Kashi Adhikari (Director of Programs), Pundit Santiram Upadhaya Dhakal (Public Officer), Mr Damber Adhikari (IT Coordinator) and Mr Narad Dahal (Cultural Coordinator) represented the Foundation. Mr Bhawani Dhakal was responsible for the media coverage. The dedicated volunteers Mr. Hem Adhikari, Mr. Bedu Gautam, Mrs Dhan Maya Adhikari and Mr Dharma Adhikari helped to make the program successful.
