To further the mission of Justice through Education and Empowerment, Punya Foundation established an inclusive state team in Queensland, Australia on 22 December 2020.
Punya Foundation’s long serving volunteer, Mr. Indra Rizal, leads the team as the State Manager. Other office bearers are Mr. Kul Bahadur Mishra (Coordinator Administration), Ms. Jyoti Dahal (Coordinator Finance), Ms. Nar Maya Khadka (Coordinator Programs), Mr. Narayan Mishra (Coordinator Public Relation), Mr. Amar Gurung (Assistant-Coordinator Culture, Religion and Spirituality), Mr. Ganga Ram Chauhan (Assistant-Coordinator Education), Ms. Krishna Silwal (Assistant- Coordinator Women Welfare) and Mr. Lok Nath Adhikari (Assistant-Coordinator Fund Raise).
The team has so far raised AUD 2,520 in 2020 for the education of vulnerable and disabled children and for the empowerment women victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. Punya Foundation, Queensland intends to organise strategic programs once the COVID-19 pandemic is over. Punya Foundation board wishes, its state team Queensland a success working for social justice.
