
Panchami Puja was successfully organised in Salisbury, South Australia on 28 August 2025, bringing together the local Hindu community for a day of devotion, culture, and spiritual celebration.
The event was volunteer driven, with valuable contributions from community members. The Puja was led by Pundit Santiram Upadhaya Dhakal, with support from Mr Benu Khatiwada, Mr Narayan Khatiwada, and Mr Nanda Lal Adhikari, ensuring a spiritually enriching experience for all attendees.
The program was coordinated by Mr Hari Adhikari, Program Director of Punya Foundation, with special support from Mr and Hem Adhikari and Mr Hari Sharma Poudyal, Coordinator of the Mandir Construction Committee.
The Puja aimed to bring the community together for devotion, cultural engagement, and spiritual reflection, continuing the Foundation’s mission of preserving and promoting Nepali cultural and religious traditions in South Australia. The event saw a participation of over 50 female devotees, who engaged wholeheartedly in the rituals and celebrations, making the day memorable for everyone present.
