We are proud to announce that Mr. Kashi Adhikari is appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Punya Foundation. A passionate community activist and seasoned leader, Mr. Adhikari brings a wealth of experience in multicultural engagement, international humanitarian work, and grassroots development.

Mr. Adhikari’s journey began as a dedicated schoolteacher in Nepal before expanding his reach as a freelance interpreter across both onshore and offshore settings, particularly in Papua New Guinea and Nauru. He currently serves in the Australian Federal Government, where he leads initiatives promoting diversity, equity, and community development.

With over a decade of hands-on experience, Mr. Adhikari has made significant contributions to various community organisations. He has served as an Apex Council member of BASSA, former member of the Angle Vale Lions Club, and a committed volunteer for the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) community. His exceptional communication and interpersonal skills—honed through years of interpreting and translation at international levels—make him an invaluable asset to our team.

Punya Foundation has already benefited greatly from Mr. Adhikari’s leadership during his tenure as Director of Programs. Under his guidance, the Foundation reached new heights, expanding its impact and visibility. We are confident that, as CEO, Mr. Adhikari will help bring to life the community’s shared vision of building a Mandir in South Australia—bringing hope, pride, and joy to thousands of Hindus.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Adhikari is a devoted husband to Mrs. Ishwara Dulal and a loving father to their three children – Lisa, Isha, and Arvin. His personal journey—from displacement in Bhutan, to resilience in Nepal, and now to leadership in Australia—exemplifies the values of adaptability, compassion, and purpose.

Mr. Adhikari is not merely stepping into a role; he embodies the spirit of Punya Foundation. He is a lifelong advocate and a deeply considerate leader. We welcome him with great pride and unwavering confidence in the transformative path ahead.
