The Punya Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Kamal Bajgai as the Finance Coordinator for the Mandir Project. A long-time resident of Salisbury Council, South Australia, Mr. Bajgai is a highly respected and devoted community member, widely recognised for his unwavering commitment to service, leadership, and the preservation of culture. This role perfectly aligns with his values of transparency, accountability, and inclusive community development.

Mr. Bajgai’s journey of service began in the Bhutanese refugee camps in Nepal, where he worked as a schoolteacher—educating and empowering children during one of the most difficult periods in their lives. After resettling in Australia, his dedication to uplifting others continued through his active volunteering within the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities under Salisbury Council, advocating for unity, inclusion, and cultural harmony.

Professionally, Mr. Bajgai has built a robust and stable career, serving as a supervisor at Perfection Fresh for over 12 years. His reliability, leadership, and strong work ethic have made him a trusted figure both within the workplace and beyond.

In addition to his professional and voluntary contributions, Mr. Bajgai has been serving for the past four years as the Coordinator of the Antarastrya Nimbarka Parishad, where he plays a vital role in promoting spiritual values and Hindu traditions among the diaspora community.

Beyond his public and professional life, Mr. Bajgai is deeply rooted in family. He is the loving son of Mr. Dilli Ram Bajgai and Mrs. Madhavi Bajgai, and the devoted father of two children, Kripa and Krishna Bajgai. His humility, warmth, and strong sense of responsibility define his every action.

Mr. Bajgai has graciously accepted the role of Finance Coordinator at a critical time for the Mandir Project, and both the Punya Foundation team and the wider community are profoundly grateful for his willingness to lead in this important capacity. We are confident that under his stewardship, the financial aspects of the project will remain transparent, accountable, and community focused.
