Meditation in Adelaide, April 2021

Brahma Kumari Raj Yoga and Meditation Centre’s Adelaide chapter organised a 2-day-meditation program on 17 and 18 April 2021 in two different locations in Adelaide. The program was organised in collaboration with Punya Foundation. The BAASA supported with the PA system. Raj Yogini Ms Sita Gurung, Sydney based meditation devotee and professional provided the discourse.

The program was attended by around 45 individuals. The majority of the participants were the representatives of Punya Foundation, BAASA, Adelaide Nepal, Senior Helpers Paradise and Brahma Kumari Raj Yoga and Meditation Centre Adelaide.

Brahma Kumari Raj Yoga and Meditation Centre was established in 1936 and its chapter started in Australia in 1975. During the meditation commentary, Raj Yogini Gurung addressed on the impact of mental and physical well-being due to the pandemic, the influence of nutrition on our bodily well-being and the role of meditation on mental relaxation and positive thinking.

Program coordinator Mr Bikash Sharma Pokhrel reported the program was well received and successful. Mr Kashi Adhikari, Director of Programs, Punya Foundation thanked the Raj Yogini Ms Gurung for her tops and tips, appreciated the multi-cultural participation of individuals from various walks of life, background and country of origin and logistic supports from various sources.
