Coinciding with the Australian day, the Foundation organises group blood donation program. The theme is giving back to the wider Australian community. In collaboration with the Red Cross Lifeblood, Punya Foundation Inc. organised another round of group donation of blood and plasma.
Mr Kashi Adhikari, Director of Programs, informed 15 positions were allocated for group donation at the Modbury Donor Centre in South Australia on eve of Australian day. Majority of the donors were of Nepali speaking Bhutanese background. Punya Foundation Inc. thanks the donors – Mr Mohan Gautam, Mrs Laxmi Gautam, Mrs Sita Sharma, Mr Devi Pokhrel, Mr Dilli Ram Dhakal, Mrs Laxmi Panday Khatiwada, Mr Sriman Khatiwada, Mr Hari Pokhrel, Mr Guman Sing Magar, Mrs Madhavi Dhakal, Mr Khagendra Khatiwada and Mr Narayan Bhattarai.
Mr Adhikari was supported by Foundation’s executives Mr Sanman Kafley, Mr Hari Pokhrel and Pundit Santiram Upadhaya Dhakal through the program. Due thanks to Red Cross Lifeblood for flexibility and being accommodative.
