Starting 7 September, the Punya Foundation is organising a 3-day Multicultural Spiritual & Yoga program with an aim of raising funds to support education of orphans, poor and vulnerable children in Nepal and Africa.
Day started with Namthat from 5th Incarnation Tulku Rinpoche Kezang Tamang. He highlighted on charity from perspective of Buddhism. Acharya Shree Rajan Sharma, an accredited Yoga instructor in Australia discoursed on essence of Shrimad Bhagawat health and wellbeing through Yoga. Pundit Shree Tirtharaj Poudyal chanted vedic versers. Amidst Bhajan and Kirtan, the attendees engaged in spiritual songs and dances.
The inaugural session was attended by Honorable Jing Lee, Member of the Legislative Council and Assistant Minister to the Premier, Mayor Gillian Aldridge from Salisbury, Mayor Glenn Docherty from Playford, executives of BAASA and other dignitaries.
