ABA-Youth, 2017: The team driving 10 orphan children’s’ education possible in Nepal

The Association of Bhutanese in  Australia, Sydney Youths (ABA-Youths) have been organising fund raising program for the third consecutive year. With the generated funds, through the Punya Foundation, the ABA-Youths had been funding education of 10 children who lost at least one of their parents during the devastating earthquakes that occurred in 2015 in Nepal.

The program comprised a variety of mixed pick-ups: presentation, Nepali folk and modern dances, jokes, poetry and overall the atmosphere gestured a big fanfare. Further, the program was adorned by typical Bhutanese-Nepalese cuisine. Program participants, not only appreciated the program but applauded on the content, creativity and enthusiasm of the organisers.

The Foundation appreciates the ABA Youths’ enthusiasm to give continuity to support the education of these orphan children and is thankful to all program participants for making to the program, supporting the youths and helping them meet their program objectives.
