
Punya Foundation held its annual Blood Donation Program today at the Modbury Blood Donation Centre in Adelaide, in partnership with the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood. The event that marked 16th Years of Punya Foundation’s establishment. The program was coordinated by Mr. Hari Adhikari, Program Director of Punya Foundation, and brought together enthusiastic members of the migrant community who were eager to contribute to a meaningful cause.
Blood donation plays a crucial role in saving lives every day, supporting patients in emergencies, cancer treatments, surgeries, and long-term medical care. With this understanding, Punya Foundation continues to lead community-focused initiatives that create meaningful and lasting impact. This annual program reflects the Foundation’s humanitarian values and highlights the migrant community’s strong sense of gratitude and responsibility toward their adopted homeland.
Many participants, including several first-time donors, shared how rewarding it felt to be part of a life-saving effort and to give back to the community that has supported their journey. By promoting awareness, especially among young people, the Foundation aims to foster a culture of generosity, civic engagement, and social responsibility within multicultural communities.
