Punya Foundation is preparing to host two meaningful community‑focused programs on 20 June 2026 – a Blood Donation Program at the Modbury Blood Donation Centre in South Australia and a Virtual Poem Recitation Program open to participants from across Australia and abroad. Both initiatives reflect the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community, strengthening social connection, and promoting literacy, creativity, and civic engagement.
Blood Donation Program – Modbury Centre, SA: Blood donation remains one of the most impactful ways individuals can contribute to saving lives. From emergency care to cancer treatment and chronic illness management, donated blood supports thousands of Australians every day. Building on its long-standing tradition of humanitarian service, Punya Foundation invites all willing donors to participate in this year’s program at the Modbury Blood Donation Centre.
This initiative continues the Foundation’s mission of encouraging generosity, responsibility, and community service within multicultural communities. By participating, donors help foster a culture of compassion and collective wellbeing. Those interested in joining the blood donation program are warmly encouraged to take part and help make a life‑changing difference.
Virtual Poem Recitation Program: Alongside the blood donation event, Punya Foundation will also host a Virtual Poem Recitation Program on the same day. This creative platform celebrates the richness of language, artistic expression, and cultural heritage. Participants of all ages and backgrounds are invited to share their original poems, reflections, and creative works. The virtual format ensures accessibility for individuals across states and countries, continuing the Foundation’s tradition of connecting communities through art, storytelling, and shared experiences. The program aims to inspire creativity, promote literacy, and strengthen cultural identity.
Interested participants can contact Mr Hari Adhikari or Acharya Santi Ram Upadhaya Dhakal for poem recitation registration. You may also write to info@punyafoundation.org for further details.
