Observing the Christmas Eve, Punya Foundation USA, in collaboration with HDNP, distributed blankets to homeless people in Dallas and Fort Worth. This program is third in a row.
Mr Sudip Adhikari, President of Punya Foundation USA mentions 495 blankets were distributed to homeless people. A second distribution program is planned for 3rd January 2021. He reported that the program is very well received by the local community.
Mr Adhikari appreciates the concerted effort of volunteers and donations from individuals and community-based organisations making the program successful. Mr David Acharya, president of HDNP, Mr Saroj Sitaula representing Everest Lion’s Club, Ms Sambridhi Adhikari and other volunteers worked tirelessly to put a smile on faces of underprivileged people.
