Punya Foundation and Bimala-Binishma Panta Foundation have been collaborating since 2022 to provide scholarships to poor and vulnerable children in Gorkha district in Nepal. Bimala-Binishma Panta Foundation is an initiative of a philanthropist Mr Prakash Jung Panta, a resident of South Australia.
Bimala-Binishma Panta Foundation Distributes Scholarships, 2024
The scholarship consists of the provision of school fees, stationery items (notebooks, school bags, pens, pencils, etc.) and school uniforms. In 2024, Bimala Binishma Panta Foundation provided scholarships to 11 schools in Palungtar, Gorkha district.
Mr Panta has a team of volunteers in Nepal to implement the scholarship program. He is panning to visit Nepal in August 2024 for monitoring and program appraisal. Punya Foundation is thankful to Mr Panta for collaboration to reach out much needed support to poor children in Nepal.
