Mrs Adhikari, artwork lead, Adelaide, 2019
Mrs Ishwara Adhikari runs an art session for children during Durga Puja held at Adelaide on 5 October 2019. Children aged five years through to fifteen participated during the session. It was organised primarily to engage children and to facilitate their parents take part in spiritual program.
Children engaged and enjoyed the artworks. The session gained appreciations from parents and community members. One of the children mentioned, “What a fun. When is the next session going to take place?” These types to activities excel cognitive ability, promote critical thinking and boost intrinsic motivation. Punya Foundation team thanks Mrs Adhikari for spontaneously volunteering to run the session.
