Sydney based ABA-Youths is an organisation of progressive youths. It organises various programs, among other fund raising programs, for education of children who lost at least one of their parents during earthquakes of April and May 2015 in Nepal. In 2015, ABA-Youths successfully organised a fund raising program and sponsored education of 10 children.
The ABA Youths organised an entertainment night on 20th August 2016 which comprised of dinner, dances, poems and songs to generate funds for education of orphaned children. During the program profiles of sponsored students were presented and the ABA Youths staged a symbolic drama displaying how a needy child was resourced to go to school. The ABA youth fundraising team, which coordinated the program, was supported by Sydwest Multicultural Services and Association of Bhutanese in Australia.
The Punya Foundation thanks the ABA Youths for donating 1500 AUD to sponsor 10 children who lost at least one of their parents during earthquakes of 2015 in Nepal.
